Blood & Honour Gig Reports :: B&H Germany's Ian Stuart Memorial Concert
It was unbelievable when we entered the concert. There was a big crowd standing in front of this huge hall, all trying to get in. The location was an old hotel where the guys from Blood and Honour Brandenburg had just built up the P.A. system. As we came in the hall, there was Kraftschlag on stage starting their soundcheck. I think there was already about 1500 people inside and there were more and more coming in!
After saying hello to all the other well known people and to all the Scandinavian Blood & Honour brothers (HAIL to Morten and the others!!!!!) the first band Ultima Ratio started. They had a good set and even if their CD was not so good, they did a very good job! At least they played many own songs and then Blood & Honour from Skrewdriver and the sound of 2500 people was going trough the air!
The next band was Chaos 88; they also did a great performance with all their well known hits and some stage diving from 4m high into the crowd!! Great show!!
After a short break, the guys from Kraftschlag, dressed totally in black, entered the stage. Jens first held a little speech to welcome all the Blood and Honour brothers and sisters of Germany and especially from their own section - Scandinavia! They started with a very well known intro and I lack words to describe what happened then, all in attendance were singing along! After the song, they played all their stuff and as they played "we fight the system" everyone was dancing around!! Kraftschlag's better then ever!!!! Then they played European Battlesong and Free my Land and Jens asked for one minute in silence to remember our fallen comrade, IAN STUART!! After some more own songs, they played Old Albion and a very great performance was at its end. To "we want more" shouts they left to make the stage free for the BLUE EYED DEVILS!!!
The Blue Eyed Devils also did their job really great, as great a sound as on their CD! They played many songs from "Murder Squad" and after a short break they came back to play some more. And to the sound of 2500 people's "Hail Victory" shouts, a big concert found its end - without any trouble from the police and with 4 very very good bands!
Hail Blood & Honour Scandinavia!
Hail Combat18!
Hail Ian Stuart!
