Blood & Honour Gig Reports ::   B&H England's Ian Stuart Memorial Gig

The 1999 C18/Blood and Honour gig in memory of Ian Stuart was held on the 2nd of October near Coventry. Over a hundred dedicated NS activists joined forces to honour the memory of our friend and comrade, who paid the ultimate price for his bravery and dedication. Loyal comrades from Sweden, Norway and Germany came to join Ian's English friends for an evening of great music and true NS Revolutionary spirit. It was great to see many old faces there and old comradeships were renewed.

The action began with a great set from the Blackshirts who got straight down to business with some brilliant WP rock. The crowd went crazy right from the start and gave them a superb reception. Next, the guys from Blood and Honour security took to the stage to remind us what the event was all about, and asked for a minutes silence in memory of our fallen hero...heads were bowed and right hands were raised in a quiet respectful salute to the man who did so much for our common struggle.

Now we had our own friendly Viking invasion from Hets Mot Folkgruppe. This Swedish band played even though they had lost a member to Zog's forces on the trip over. Still they gave us some fantastic music and proved they are a real 88 Rock and Roll band!

Chingford Attack came next, showing us some classic hard-core music from the bulldog breed. By this time the comrades were going mental with plenty of dancing and singing along. Warhammer took the stage now to a great reception..their version of 'Sweet Home Alabama' was so good that a pair of Klansmen miraculously appeared to join them. Were they from Alabama ?...we don't know and no-one is saying....

Last off were Razors Edge who were as good as it gets really. Lots of old favorites for the crowd and a rousing tribute to Ian and C18. One event that really summed up the spirit of the evening...a bottle of Vodka was raffled to help pay for the upkeep of Ian's grave. The comrade who won placed the bottle on the bar for everyone to have a drink in Ian's memory. Not a profiteer or pop star in sight, just unity, comradeship and a determination to win. Now we can go away having made new friends and look to the future, working to free our people from the grip of Zog's tyranny. Our hero's memory was honored and it's time to get back to business: Whatever It Takes!
